littlewoods direct mate....

just ordered a double oven cooker for my house...... intereste free for 52 weeks but ill pay it off next month.

If it is Littlewoods Direct as opposed to just Littlewwods then you have every reason to want an Empire Stores account.
LD charge for delivery and on MOST purchases it is 3 mnths interest free.
Empire are slightly dearer on purchase price but free deliver and 52 weeks int free on everything :j

and the chap in credit apologised..... said i could have one of each catalogue if i wanted!!!!!:j

put me thorugh to new orders, and they approved me for £500 starightaway.... gave me my account no.... and said is there any other catalogues i would like.....lol (not kidding)!!!!

i said no for now:T................ 12 months from now, i should have a pretty solid credit file.......

thanks once again all you guys....... plus rose and brian1966, my new additiion to my favourites ie NID and Innocent

is it worth phoning and applying for these kind of accounts or doing it online?
also just wondering if anyone knows, a couple of store cards that i want are owned by GE money but i applied for a credit card with debenhams not so long ago and got declined (it said the card was issued byGE) does that mean the others will decline me aswell as store cards are a little different fromactual credit cards?

Debenhams, John Lewis (but i need someone to confirm this for me), Mothercare and I dont know who else
