Could be something very simple behind the decision, speak to them and you may get it reversed, albeit with a small limit.

Have you ordered anything yet? Had first order discount?
If so tell them that you are looking at other offers such as 30% off as opposed to set amounts like £15.
Alternatively just lie and tell them that you thought product range would be different
