You're right, but this was an old search i was chasing up
. The conflicting info i received from GU was irritating and i needed to know what the precise reason was for initially declining me.
Anyhoo, no more searches :rotfl:.0 -

Hi all,
In an effort to improve my hubbys credit rating, we're hoping to open a catalogue account and make regular payments.
After reading through all these threads, JD williams seems the best option, however I've just gone on their site, and I wonder how everyone applies for the first time.
Do you place an order? Or click on register to open a new account, or just request a catalogue.
Sorry if they're stupid questions, but I don't want to mess it up!

thanks
Click register, then on next page click the box which says, 'new online customer wishing to set up account'
Easy application, should get £125 limit.
May find on refreshing page or logging out and back in that limit disappears. Will (or should) come back in the morning or sooner

Not sure but think APR is cheaper if you set up a direct debit

They do increase VERY regularly though if you use it wisely, my Jd Williams started at £125 and is now £1100..similar increases with my other accounts too, subject to using them regularly :beer:Natwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0
