Have not been posting on my diary for a couple of reasons
1. I am supposed to be on holiday:j
2. I have been really bleugh with a bad cold:mad:
I have been posting on other peoples threads though
I thought it was time I caught up on here and I am beginning to feel a bit better
We are having quite a bit of work done on our holiday villa whilst we are out here to keep it up to scratch for renting. This will severely hit the repayment of debt over the next couple of months but needs doing and is tax deductible.
I have recommenced PAD just putting it in a savings account at the mo as all our CC are 0% and the next one is not due to be repaid until October. I will probably try and BT that one as the largest one is due to be repaid in Dec and I want to pay as much off that one as poss so that I only need one card to BT any thats left I would probably need 2-3 at the moment.
I have finally managed to get our Spanish account online which will make things a lot easier.:j
Why are things so difficult to get here
1. We bought a cappuccino machine here last year one of the guests has thrown the steam pipe away can I get a new one - no tried in the UK no luck spoke to Philips UK they suggested I phone Philips Spain got someone with better Spanish to ring them and they say it was made in the 1990s and there is no spares - this is codswallop but how can I say that in Spanish have now emailed Philips in the UK explaining the problem
2.Someone has thrown the metal plug from the bath and three of the jacuzzi nozzles awaycan I find replacements no - is there a make marked on the bath - no so now I am trying to track the original builder down to see if he knows where the baths came from
3. Trying to get replacement patio furniture need table and 8 chairs and 6 loungers seen lovely table today but only 4 chairs it just drives you mad
4. I need 3 pairs of matching curtains - no chance I will have to send them out from the Uk
5. Need machine to take scratches off DVDs - no chance will have to take them home and send them back with my friend who fortunately is coming out on 10th Sept can hardly expect her to bring 3 pairs of curtains though:rotfl:
Have been to IKEA though and replaced broken crockery and glasses.
Sometimes it makes you wonder if it is all worth the effort but hopefully it will look nice by the time we leave.
I have been playing free bingo whilst I have been out here and won £26 so that helps:T
Think thats it just had sneezing fit

Bingo winnings continuing another £5 this morning and had a £5 scratchcard a couple of days ago so nearly up to pay out on that
No luck with nozzle think I will have to get on to Philips in Holland I refuse to believe I can't get a short bit of plastic/bakelite pipejust realised Shaun was referring to jacuzzi nozzle not cappuccino nozzle absolutely nothing doing on that front
Outside painting and varnishing going slow but looks good just hope it is finished before we leave so I can see house looking good and take some new piccies.
Off on the patio furniture hunt again tomorrow hope that gets sorted too.
