Hurrah :T:T:T It feels much better now you are not being bothered by me, doesn't it :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi DT .... after seeing the above between you and hypno, I went back and read the previous page properly, I hadn't seen your long post about showing your mum's loan to you. Thats very powerful, what you've done. Amazing, in fact. I can really understand not wanting to think about that loan till now but as you say, realistically, it *does* have to be thought about.
We have a complex little situation going in my family thats something the same - not money that I owe, but my brother owes, but it affects money that I'm looking after for my mum. My brother has definitely been extremely dozy .... like so many of the male partners of the women on here, he just doesn't **think** about money - people like Shaun and Lenny, Numpty and ZTD and so on are honourable exceptions. Sigh ....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I do feel better for writing it down will feel even better when it is paid off
As you made me splutter on my laptop I am now blaming you for my computer going all blue on me and having to go in for repair I am just keeping my fingers crossed that they can recover my hard drive as I had just put the mini DTs and the babys birthday piccies on about 2 hours before it decided not to play

Can't believe it has been over a week since I posted on my diary I have been posting elsewhere so not completely AWOL.
Nothing much happening on the debt front about to tip into overdraft in the next 24 hours  but it is either that or not pay my CC off and I am not going to go down that path again pay day will be 31st July although it is by cheque so will have to clear by which time I shall be in sunny Lanzarote:j haven't been to our house there since Easter last year so really looking forward to 3 weeks in the sun. (Will be able to try out the new wifi we have had installed for visitors).
Shaun and his family have been that was lovely and according to my youngest mini Shaun is now his best friend although they only met for about 15 mins as the mini DTs were in school.:rotfl:
Trying to keep costs down had to get my hard drive recovered. Last time after my computer was dropped in Entebbe airport it cost me £175 in PC World and they didn't recover everything and that was all they did I fitted new hard drive myself. This time took it to a local shop that has just opened, recovered everything, reformatted my hard drive reinstalled windows and my drivers, installed a different anti virus software for me total cost £25:T well chuffed and relieved.
Yesterday did a 5hr 40 min round trip to visit a school for the charity I work for and realised my back brakes for dodgy took it to local tyre place rather than dealer as my car has done 137K don't think warranted main dealer total cost £59 I have never had a bill for that amount whatever the problem was from the dealer I don't think their computer can go that low so whilst I didn't want a bill at all in the end it wasn't that bad.
I am in the office now I am determined to get all paperwork done before the kids finish school on Friday so that I can enjoy the holiday with them. Accounts are done been to the accountant and July's tax bills should be reduced if the Inl Rev agree the figures in time so will have to keep an eye on my online statement as I need to pay as little as possible to keep the overdraft as small as poss.
I think that it is going to do some work now.
