Why don't you keep it open and then when one of the cards is due to run out of 0% deal ring them up and ask to close the card and they may offer you another 0% deal to keep you.0

Thanks Taxi I intend to I have a couple of spare cards which are possibilities for offers its only if they turn me down for a new offer that I close them so that I can take advantage of new offers. I have fairly recently closed 2 Halifax cards and they are already making me new offers which I will investigate further when I need them. OH closed his HSBC card after they could not give him offer even though he had never had an offer and had the card for over 20 yrs strangely a few months later when I asked on mine they gave me an offer- so he could apply again if needed. Its nice to get your own back on the card companies after the thousands they have had off us in interest:mad:

It's always best to have some cards ready to negotiate with as its hard to get 0% sometimes..even with excellent credit.0

I do need to have a good sort out and post my update for the MFiT - T2 but I am hoping to get my mint statement soon which is the card I have been PADding too so hopefully a fair bit paid off that one.
