You on my friends list? Getting so confused with people who have different names to their MSE identity!! :D

Only need 13 more neighbours to stop harrassing strangers on the internet for FV purposes :rotfl::rotfl:

  • OK update on the cooker front - why is nothing simple

Cooker in and first meal cooked but only in the oven as we haven't been able to go and get the new saucepans to enable us to use the hob.

It required a complete new cable from the fuse box which had to run outside the house and then in through the wall which was when he managed to drill through the water pipe. When it was all done he went to test it and found there was a problem with the incoming supply there not being sufficient earth after two visits from Scottish Power today they have now discovered there is a problem with the house opposite as well so they are coming back tomorrow they think the farmer may have ploughed through the earth wire:( so it is a good job we found out but a pain all the same.

The cooker does look lovely though

hi DT, just a thought but my friend got an induction hob last year and found that the smartprice pans from asda worked on it - she also struggled to get pans - may be worth a try if you have one nearby? xxx

Thanks Tomtom Asda is a bit of a way and I have got my pans today

20% off in the sale plus a further 10% off as I took out yet another Debenhams card at least number 3 I think - you would think they would learn by now that I only ever use it for the special offer - also got free calvin klein washbag, free cup of tea/coffee and 3 months interest free and Mom says she will pay for the pans so I can't lose really :) went round with a magnet testing all the pans much easier that trying to decipher the labels

Tested one out and they do heat very fast.

Electricity sorted so we are all safe again:D

Ordered new bed to replace the one OS broke  and that is coming on Tuesday. Did 2 mystery shops just need to input them. Still PADding £10 a day to Mint and bank account looking OK so plan seems to be working. Need to pay tax bill for OH and me by the end of the month but for once I have the money so looking pretty good:T

Farmville has released expansion so farm rearranged but still full:rotfl:just need 2 more neighbours now:o

Enjoy the start of the weekend you lovely people

Glad you got your pans...you can cook away until your heart is content.
What is an induction hob? and what are the benefits of an induction hob? and what sorts of pans do you have to buy?

Sorry for the questions but I want a new kitchen and will need an oven and hob and don't know what to go for.
