OK update on the cooker front - why is nothing simple
Cooker in and first meal cooked but only in the oven as we haven't been able to go and get the new saucepans to enable us to use the hob.
It required a complete new cable from the fuse box which had to run outside the house and then in through the wall which was when he managed to drill through the water pipe. When it was all done he went to test it and found there was a problem with the incoming supply there not being sufficient earth after two visits from Scottish Power today they have now discovered there is a problem with the house opposite as well so they are coming back tomorrow they think the farmer may have ploughed through the earth wire:( so it is a good job we found out but a pain all the same.
The cooker does look lovely though

Glad you got your pans...you can cook away until your heart is content.
What is an induction hob? and what are the benefits of an induction hob? and what sorts of pans do you have to buy?
Sorry for the questions but I want a new kitchen and will need an oven and hob and don't know what to go for.0
