Forgot to say big day for little one yesterday first haircut (we had to wait for permission to do that :mad:) and first shoes had to get cruisers because as suspected she was too small for proper shoes ahhhhhhhhhh. She is asleep on my shoulder at the mo - crisis this morning lost one shoe OH put it through the wash :rolleyes: seems OK. Oh and they took her photo and made a special card up about her first shoes :T

Awwwww... her 1st haircut! (Why on earth did you need permission for it though? Surely if you are caring for her then that is part of caring for her? ). I love the sound of the first shoes card - it sounds soooo sweet.

Parents have parental responsibility until an adoption order is granted and therefore their permission has to be obtained. In some ways I can understand if a child went into care say with long hair and the carers went and cut it short you wouldn't be too impressed but in this case when all contact has now finished in readness for adopton and it was just a fringe that kept getting in her eyes it is silly - but rules is rules.

Had really strange lightning and overhead thunder just at which point there was a commotion upstairs went upstairs to find my ys lamp broken when asked him who had done it after blaming his sister, a tiny dinosaur figure and his friend from school he finally admitted it - hard not to laugh that he thought he could blame it on his friend who has never been to our house lol love their innocence:D
