Like hypno, I've had an email saying my money is on its way back.

And you're Not Mad. Not at all. Well, not much, anyway :D

I've had an e-mail as well..mines on the way back as well.
Good luck with the assignments you sound really busy.
  • I had an email too to say my money is on its way so pleased with that:j

Didn't finish my assignment until 1.15 this morning:eek:
But my tutor is pleased with it :j

Really must learn not to leave assignments until the last minute

Well after my first mystery shop yesterday for ages and booking a telephone call one for December, today I was rung about a petrol one for tomorrow and when I said yes they showered me with shops so I have 7 booked in all together and no burgers :D also applied for a lucrative building soc one so fingers crossed I get that one

So it looks as if I have not retired as a mystery shopper after all ;) my accountant couldn't believe what I was doing and wouldn't put it on my tax form so I think I am a customer service evaluator or some such thing :rotfl:

Just seen Taka win £100 on BB :T:T:T

Thats a good number! I've applied for that well-paying one too - hope lots of dfw people get them. And I just love the phrase Customer Service Evaluator! Excellent - I've just been watching Horizon (how long is a piece of string?) and it sounds a bit like that.... :)

I did that mystery shop in the last wave - it was really easy and if I were allowed to do it again this time I would! I hope you get allocated one of them!

WOW..that's loads of mystery shops..well done you.
  • Really wild here so only doing a quick post as the electricity keeps going off and my battery is dead.
Went out to a charity auction last night held in a sailing club at one point I was clutching my purchased artwork and clinging on to a rubbish bin to stop being blown away very scarey. Had to stop and move a small tree off the road on the way home too.
Cant keep the house warm heating keeps tripping every time we reset it the power goes off again.

Going to go now in case I lose this post and see if I can catch up on some threads,

Wow..sounds really bad where you are...hope you all keep safe....xxxxx
  • Well we survived the day of power cuts we had dozens

Stage 2 and 3 of the switcheroo are complete I have paid the final balance off the MBNA card from my HSBC account and I have paid the MBNA cheque into my Halifax account included in that is an amount to pay off Citibank in January so as soon as the cheque clears I need to pay back the money borrowed from the HSBC account and put the citibank money and living money up to end April in my savings account to earn an extra bit of interest. Just opened an ING account and thanks to FB on MFiT-T2 got £25 bonus:j so going to put the money in there.

I have also paid an amount equivalent to the MBNA transfer fee off my Mint card so that my total debt doesn't go up and that is the next card to be tackled as I think the 0% runs out in May but I need to check that. The balance is approx £5600 so all my extra money bingo, scratchies, MS etc. will be going towards that although as I will get paid at the end of April I will have the money to clear that one but I want to get the balance as low as possible. After that it will be egg, then capital one, then MBNA again at least I don't have to think about any more BTs until next summer and the number of cards and the amount owed is going down bit by bit.

Will also need to find a new mortgage deal next summer so potentially an interesting time depending on the interest rate I may put the remaining money on the mortgage because as I will be overpaying the mortgage the remaining CC bit will be paid off pretty quickly - within a year so depending on the rate we get may be cheaper to do that than the BT fees:rolleyes:

The thought of no more CCs in 9 months time feels good never thought we would ever do that and we wouldn't have without this site and the encouragement of everyone on the forum:T:A

Have a great day everyone started to rain here and I have to go out:mad:

Forgot to say I won £20 on BB this morning :j

  • Mortgages ahh ! The beginning of next year will be my first deal coming to an end and Ill have to figure out whats going on there. Everytime I attempt to understand mortgage info it goes through my eyes and then disappears...
