Getting confused with various threads on here, plus the Tesco blogspot site.

To place my first order with Tesco (for food shopping), what is the best way to go above getting the best deal with clubcard points etc?

arghhh have had a hell of a morning placed an order on tesco.com groceries for delivery this moring my subtotal was £91 after using my clubcard vouchers my final guide price was £68 (i only had 70 quid in my bank account) my other account is an electron which tesco dont accept, anyway had the driver here this morning says he couldnt take payment been on the phone all day to different departments, now they telling me that they take the full price off before the clubcards vouchers are accepted, even though payment went thru at visa verified... anyone know if this is the case ?

he he he ive had a lot of fun doing this as every time i shopped at tesco it kept giving me till spits of £6 off a £40 spend + i had a load of vouchers from sainsburys that were £4 off a £20 spend as well so with the sun voucher i was getting £15 off a £40 shop! also i discoverd that i could buy my e or mobile top ups at the checkout which counted towards the conditional £40. another thing ive noticed with the £5 off sun vouchers that they seem to do regularly, is that they often print two seperate ones for the same week so i did one weeks shop at the begginning of the week and the following weeks shop at the end of the week just before it went out of date shame i used the last of them last week. ah well all good things must come to an end

hi, wondered if someone could answer a question about clubcard points. i'm looking to save for a holiday and have seen people say they buy vouchers off ebay, so can anyone confirm if you can use other peoples vouchers to put towards holiday vouchers?

I ordered 2 lots of reward vouchers on the 8th and was informed that they were dispatached on the 11th. This is the first time I have coverted any points and was going to use them for eating out whilst on holiday next week.

Does anybody know how long it usually take for them to arrive. I thought that we would have had them by now.

Sometimes they come the next day, sometimes they take best part of 2 weeks.
