Might be worth taking a look at HUKD:

"Buy a Dyson over £180 and get £60 back in vouchers! Instore @ Argos"

According to this (on HUKD) - yes:
Was in Tesco this morning picking up my Daily Rebel and noticed a sign at Customer Services that told of the change in policy wrt Farmfoods vouchers.

Guys, trust me, Tesco do accept *all* other competitors conditional spend vouchers (*), sometimes the CS dude will say "but Sir, that is a XXX voucher" and you just need to educate them as to Tesco's policy, obviously they get a supervisor over and they know how to put it through the till.

    * = But no longer Farmfoods as there are faaaaaaaar too many vouchers floating around for them for Mr T's liking

    Hi

This may have been asked many times now, but I couldn't find the answer.

Can I use Tesco voucher issued for Restaurants for 'Day Out' instead? (i.e. zoo/castle visit)

    Thanks.

well my greed got the better of me, i found the DC25 dyson at tesco for £229 this morning, and i put it in my basket, before work, i tried to look for extra points etc, and this resulted in me, asking here, and also running late for you.

I've just logged into my tesco account, and guess what the price of the dyson has gone up to £284:(

I now wish i had just bought the flippin dyson this morning, without looking for extra codes.................

Hi don't know if this will be of use to anyone also posted on boosting tesco pts thread. On trying the new tesco 20% off code knowing I hadn't used it before it kept saying errorr even though I checked and double checked I was entering correct and rechecked the code until after abt 8 times of entering it eventually accepted now I am wondering on previous times i.e. 500pts had I just accepted the code was no good or can only be used once. Hope this might be of use

:(Went to one of my Tescos last night and the young lad on the till told me they did not accept Lidl vouchers - I said i thought you did and he got the supervisor who was also a young guy. He told me that they no longer accepted Lidl vouchers and that the policy had only changed that day. Went to the other Tescos in my area and they accepted it no problem.
Does anyone know if Tesco no longer accept lidl vouchers (I know they dont accept Farmfoods anymore), and if they still accept them does anyone have an email address where I can register my complain t?

Yes, they do not accept Lidl vouchers -you were lucky the 'second' Tesco hadn't read the instruction.
Why, do you wish to complain? They are under no obligation to accept another company's voucher - they are doing you a favour in doing so, in order to retain your custom. They, are simply making a business decision that they would lose more money in accepting them, in comparison with the number of shoppers who would go to Lidl instead of Tesco.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard
