Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

I wasn't aware they had stopped - they accepted a handful of vouchers from me last week and I had bought none of the products!

Don't see what the prob is the cash office just shove em in a bin bag and send them off. Stores get the money.

Was a tesco front end Team leader, my theory was if it scanned let it through!!!.

I had the same problem with a coupon for a free Milka bar. The SA initially said I would have to take it to customer services to get the money back, but then called her supervisor over and said that she simply had to type in the price of the product....the problem was the SA hadn't come across one before.

I also went yesterday with quite a lot of coupons - not all for what I was buying and some were duplicates that said only one per transaction/customer etc, but the SA just scanned them all and I ended up paying £3 for £20 of shopping!

I think it depends on who is serving you. I normally just hand over all my coupons/vouchers and ask them to scan them all "just to be sure" and they're normally all taken and scanned without a problem.

The SA said they no longer accept INTERNET vouchers, and when I asked about this at the customer service desk they said they had been told by head office not to accept internet vouchers as people had been forging/photocopying them. So will see what there email reply says...

Sorry if this is going to p!ss you off but i have just come back from tesco and my shoppong was £36.92 used ALL INTERNET printed coupons and my bill came to £18.68!!! I used dairy lea, plenty, cushell, domestos and milka amongst others

In Leicester yesterday the SA was a bit miffed that I had some coupons and that they were in black and white! But a supervisor was behind and said "just put them through!"

It was for the:

Free Milka Bar
Tropicana
Philadelphia
Dairylea
Warburtons

and a Free copy of Heat Magazine courtesy of Coke!

I wonder why she wasn't happy

I had a internet coupon for £3.00 off the new finish twelve wash tub,tesco's in goodmayes essex had them reduced to £2.70. so I got the item for nothing plus a 30 pence bonus.

I don't know if it's just me but for a good while now I have had no success with any voucher codes online for tesco.com. I think I have only had one code work in the last 6 months TBH. I can't really complain too much though, when I first started using the online codes they worked every week for a lot of months but it's so bad at the moment I can't even get a code I got sent from Tesco to work! Anybody else noticed the change?

BTW sorry if this is a repost but I don't have the time to read through the last 22 pages.

I have heard people say they are having more problems since the new Tesco site started, but if you've been sent it and it still won't work why don't you 'phone them?
