I guess the idea is if the owner had a big bum it would drag on this wearing it out. More in and outs of the rear end equal high miles

If you zoom in on the tyres of the first one, squint through the layers of tyre paint and i'm pretty certain they're Chinese ditchfinders.
That would be enough for me, could always ring the owner up and ask.
Thats one of my own buying rules...if an owner cares so little to fit such rubbish then i expect unseen maintenance to be equally shoddy.

thanks for all the advice,some very good and some funny,spoken to the guy with the R reg car,says he as fsh,cambelt was done on 65k miles,hes had it for 2 years,paid 5k for it he said,also he said its been very well looked after.
Also spoke to the other guy,he said much the same really,said hes spent a few quid on it.

I know he said cam belt done at 65k - but how long ago was that? They are due at 60k or 5years, which ever comes first.
