I'm fed up with my kids at the minute-I ask them (nicely) to please get dressed and just get hassle in return. They have no problem asking me for something a gazillion times a day but won't do one thing for me. I can't leave the house because DS won't get dressed.

Feel like getting back into pj's and going back to bed.

why don't you do that, then when they ask you to do something or want something, give them hassel back!!!!

I've told them I am on strike.

And I mean it.

I'd like to see what the house looks like when DH gets home. Feel like crying-All I do is run around after them, cooking and cleaning and get grief in exchange.

Now have a sit down, and a nice calming cuppa. They're playing up because it's getting to you.

If 'D'S won't get dressed, then (depending on what age he is) you either leave without him, or you pick up his clothes and put him in the car in whatever state he's in.

He won't do it twice after that.

Then round the town and all over and when he complains of feeling a bit chilly "Sorry - we can't stop now - we're late because someone wouldn't get dressed..."
