    Well yes, happy days,

no salt + no snow clearing equipment = no transport = no work = :T

Although my buddies that live near me were either ill, overseas or able to get into work on t'underground :( would have been much nicer with a spot of brunch and an afternoon pint.

We had nearly 4ft of snow, no salt or snow ploughs (they happened to be moved south of the border for a few days ) and I had to try and dig out our cul-de-sac as no-one else would do it and I couldn't get out with the pram...no-one seemed to mind though that I was nearly 6 months pregnant and out there in the freezing cold shovelling the snow so thay could get in and out

    Rant over!!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
