Strangely enough we bought some M&S one's a few weeks ago and didn't rate them. 2 packs for £4 I think, the pork and apple one's were not very nice.
Carmine, that's a great price for those, wish I could get them near me.

I would be interested to know what sausage you buy and what is the meat content
in them. These do seem to compare quite favourably with some of the expensive brands.

I will only buy; The Black Farmer, Debbie & Andrews or Simply Sausage :)

I love the Debbie and Andrew ones, so yummy. If I can't get them then Tesco finest will do.
Our butchers sell sausages that are 58% meat, I stupidly thought that butchers were the best place to buy decent sausages?!

58% meat- sorry but i that sauage would not even touch my lips,

    money saving: yes,

health saving: no, you have to wonder whats in it!!!!
its funny u should say that because i feel the same. i always look at meat content and any less than 70% and it goes back, no matter how cheap. last week asda were doing beef sausages 81% meat for £1. they had gone up this week and i was gutted. oh well. please remember ppl that 58% meat means that there is 42% rubbish inside your sausage. they probably taste like mush - if you griolled em the fat would fill the grill pan.

I can't see any poison in that list so I'll eat 'em! ;)
Not everyone can afford to buy the best sausages, if you had them in a cafe very likely there'd be less meat than these have?
