elle a random question I've been meaning to ask you, rhys' middle name, do you pronounce it to rhyme with a Larry or valerie, ie where do you put the emphasis? :)

    Al-ar-ree :)

Speaking of random name questions, I've been meaning to ask you too, what do you call your little one mostly? Does Jonathan get used or is it Fergus/Fergie? :)

only OH's mum and dad call him Jonathan, it's even in his medical notes 'they call him Fergus' so that's what he gets at the GP! :) We wanted to give him the option, because someone posted on MSE that no one with any sense would call a child fergus and that it would scar him! On my baby shower mini-thread that my old-style friends had for me on here to cheer me up on the day of my grannie's funeral!

And we thought, well, it'll be good for him to have a conventional name to choose at big boy school if he'd like to. :)

Sorry bit of a long answer :)

    :hello:Jonathan 'Fergie' Fergus William, born 05/03/09, 7lb 4.4oz:hello:
:)Benjamin 'Kezzie' Kester Jacob, born 18/03/10, 7lb 5oz:)

We need to rent one of these - http://www.partyhouses.co.uk/

Our intention is to hire something like that for the weekend, have all the family stay have a big BBQ.. and get married in the middle of it all ;)
  • Elle - you are inviting us all to your WEDDING :j:j:j

I for one promise to blub my eyes out!!

Weezl - what a t0sser  how dare someone say that to you!! That's why I don't venture out of here very often now...too many idiots around.

Benjamin is Benjamin - full name all the time. I find it quite hard when people call him Ben because to us he is Benjamin IYSWIM. Although we did pick the name with the idea that it could be Ben...

My nephew is William, full name all the time and we can't imagine shortening it. Yet my bro's other boy is Alexander and has been called Alex since birth!

    Fritha - thank you :D
