    is the next sales really worth it???? my sister makes the effort every year but my budget generally only manages primark or new look if im buying a vest x
    Only worth it if you would normally buy Next stuff, even in the sale it's not cheaper than the cheap shops. Not right now as Ed is little but when they are both bigger My budget for the sale will be £200 each :eek: that should kit them out pretty much for 6months
    The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: £200 think it take 6 months to a year to spend that much on clothes x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • I really like Next clothes especially for Poppy's age when the ages go between 6 months rather than 3 so lots more wear out of them.

    I've never been to the first day of the sale - but my Mum and sisters have :o.

    One thing to remember about the Next sale is....Some people go in in and spend literally hundreds (£600-800 in some cases), then a few days later they return most of it...so it is always worth going a few days later, after the mayhem has died down a bit. Although I must say kids clothes are probably the fastest to go and the least returned out of the lot!!
    Also the staff are bringing stock from out of the back all day:)

    I am gutted Fern is leaving, although I don't get to watch it much now Dh is off Uni for the summer, I wish he would !!!!!! off out the house for a few hours to be honest!

    Mel x

    I'm sticking with 24hr Asda and Tesco - shopping at midnight is much more me! :D

    lwcus, are you loitering? (saw you posting on another thread) Just wondered how your little one is getting on.. :)
  • What I acutally came on here for was to do a victory dance :dance: Izzy actually ate the amount of breakfast cerial recommended for a 7 month old this morning (normally she doesn't even manage the amount recommended for a 4 month old! ) and she had half a pot of fruit too. She ate loads yesterday too, so I think she's now realising that it's nicer when you have enough to eat. Daft baby ;)

    YAY Izzy!!

    She has also learnt how to do a fake cough. I don't think she is actually pretending to be ill, just making the noise because it is new and she likes it, but it's driving me up the wall! People keep thinking I'm a really mean mummy ignoring my coughing and spluttering child, but no, she is just a big faker :rotfl:

    Benjamin copies people coughing!! His big brother taught him - they sat for about an hour coughing at each other last weekend :rotfl:

    Oh, and is anyone elses baby obsessed with eating wipes? What with wipes, keys, plastic boxes and my feet I don't know why I bother buying her real toys ;)

    Wipes no - feet YES!! His own, mine, anybody who lets him - he will play with a foot for hours!!

    Anyway, we're off swimming later, and then the other mummies and babies we are going with are all coming back here for lunch, so I'd better hoover, and move the powertools out of the room :eek: (DH was meant to do it last night!) I don't mind them thinking I live in a bit of a mess, but I don't want to have to take anyone else's child to a&e today - that would be embarassing ;)

    :rotfl:

    OMG - I would be doing a full top-to-toe house clean - I am awful, I panic that people will think we are living in a slum :rotfl:

    Morning all.. I've only been up four hours and I'm shattered already! :(

    How often should breast/EBM-fed babies have dirty nappies? Since we've come home, Rhys has had very few dirty nappies. I told the comms nurse yesterday but she didn't seem bothered. Still plenty of wet ones and he seems fine in himself, not grumpy :confused:

    Really need to make progress with the bedrooms today.. will start after lunch, methinks! :)

    Benjamin does nothing for a day or two then does 2 or 3 whoppers on the same day! I remember being on here asking the same questions!!

    MFD- Have you seen Fern? She's wearing a very jazzy Cardi ;)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    I actually RAN to the TV to switch it on and have a look - what have I become
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    And I think technically that would be called a SNAZZY cardi ;)

    Elle - I am still blaming the hormones! I cry when I am happy, sad, surprised, disappointed, angry, shocked and some other times too. There was an advert on TV for Cancer Research last night (with loads of people saying a word or 2 each) and I cried buckets for about 10 minutes :o

    I once got up at 5am to ring through a Next sale order - BIG MISTAKE :rotfl:. By the time I eventually got through it was out of stock, out of stock, out of stock!
