Is there a female version of Rumpelstiltskin in fairy stories or fables?

Once you have made her acquaintance and her nature reveals itself so will her name, I'm sure.

She's a very pretty lady and I hope you'll be very happy together.

Top marks for choosing an oldie, by the way

We looked for a while to get a suitable 'older' cat, but didn't find rescue places that bothered to help us to be honest. Everyone wants kittens (apparently) and they seemed surprised that we wanted an elderly lady...

*LOL* ... this is a fun thread!

Years ago I had a greyhound (pearl brindle) called Barry ... stop laughing!!! Ha ha ha!

When I worked at a boarding kennels I had to look after an Irish Setter called Leonard. I don't know what his owners were thinking.

One of my friends used to have a cat called Esme, I like the old fashioned names for cats.

My two cats that I have now are called Romany and Gypsy. Previous cats I've had have been Marley, Omar, Gizmo, Marmalade, Fancy, Littlelegs, Shadow and Cagney. They were all suited to their names!...
