Aw don't be rotten to her .. she isn't plump .. she is just lovely!! ... poor cat!
And not having a name at her age? Heck, I even name the birds who come to feed in my back garden (Stumpy is a blackbird with no tail, One Feather is a collared dove with just one feather in his tail ... etc etc!!)
Everything deserves a name .. and she is just so beautiful and "dignified" in her pics that she needs a nice grown up name, so I would call her Belle ... lovely Belle, the tortoiseshell.
Aww, I like that.0 -
She looks like a Beryl to me!0

Well we got her from a rescue centre and they hadn't named her yet, so we have the privilege0 -
I had a tortoiseshell called Tosca. Just liked the name! I know it sounds a bit "boyish" but it kind of suited her!

I think cats should have "proper names".
How about Bertha (for a big girl;)).0 -

Is there a female version of Rumpelstiltskin in fairy stories or fables?
Once you have made her acquaintance and her nature reveals itself so will her name, I'm sure.
She's a very pretty lady and I hope you'll be very happy together.
Top marks for choosing an oldie, by the way0
