Think I might of been scammed

I sold some vouchers on ebay about £40 worth. Sent them by normal post, really stupid I know but didn't even think of sending recorded. Now the seller has contacted me to say there's only one voucher in the envelope. They say the envelope is/was intact when it arrived. I know I sent the right amount what can I do?

Even if you sent them recorded or special delivery, there is nothing to stop this sort of allegation.

It's an occupational hazard of selling on eBay unfortunately.

If you report them as stolen, would the shop be able to cancel them, or tell you if they had been spent?

On that advice, ask the buyer for the serial number (assuming the vouchers have got one) of the one voucher they've recieved. Then, say you made a note of all 4 serial numbers, and will be contacting the shop to cancel the other 3 vouchers.

Good idea, but they are grocery vouchers so have no serial number or anything to track them by.
Someone mentioned I could claim back upto £30 from RM is this right? I only used 1st class and got proof of posting.

Would this be seen as fair in the eyes of ebay? I've never had anything like this happen before so don't know where I stand. Thx
