Yes, but we'd only buy one and just pass it round!

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Years ago I remember reading Family Circle which was sold in the supermarkets - always full then of what we would call OS tips. Trouble is there's not much in that line that 's new!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Halight - hope you have a great night out tomorrow.
Suddenly life is full of meetings and other odd things - I haven't spent an evening at home in almost two weeks! Off soon to visit DS2 again. He should be home by the end of next week, so this might be my last visit to the hospital (involves M25 so not great!)
Tried washing at 30 degrees today. Seems clean enough, but has only a slow short spin cycle, so is taking longer to dry. Perhaps a newer WM would have a faster spin programme at this temperature? However, nothing wrong with the one I have!
Hope you all have a good day.

Good afternoon everyone. Late posting today as I've been busy with my MIL and then out with my friend. The rain was horribly heavy here this morning but settled down after lunch so I quickly got a towel wash out on the line and it's dried now :T Dinner this evening is sweet & sour chicken that we didn't have last night so easy to do.

Mr & Mrs Halight Happy Anniversary enjoy your meal tomorrow night.

Bargain Bird Your daughter is adorable :D

Beth Hope that things went well for your brother

    *trots in at tail end*

    Afternoon,

Raining here then sunny the next, OH got the beds stripped and has tried to hang them out twice but rain keeps beating him!lol
HM lasagne again for lunch with Beef burgers, mash and veg for tea.
OH has started laying the laminate in the house so it's all coming together now. He has also nearly finished flooring the loft which is fantastic as we have really needed the storage. Furthermore he has converted the boxroom into walk in wardrobe for me:jWhat a star..crikey I should be posting on the DIY thread at this rate:D

Think it will be ironing tonight and a quick catch up on the paperwork. I have to get my car taxed on Sat but only putting 6months on cos I am doing a part exchange with 'Dad & Mum Autos'. Getting Mum's car at end of month for a swap of mine plus ££. Much cheaper than buying new and at 0% finance:rotfl:

So glad it's Friday tomorrow been a very long week, anyone seen Sybil?
    Happy Anniversary to Halight
Hugs to those in a struggle and hello to the newbies; nice to see the OS Clan growing! x

    Happy anniversary to the Halights

Bargainbird - your children are adoooooorable - such pinchy cheeks - do you resist.

trying day at work today - the person who was supposed to help me do something i'm not very well trained for decided that "help" translates as "stand over and hassle" - if I wasnt so new he would have got what for!

my bike has decided to go wrong too - about a third of the way through my 10k commute the gears decided to go all unresponsive and i struggled home on very low gears indeed. Oh well - bus tomorrow then.

tonight's tea is well under way - egg and bacon salad - sounds like wrongness but is lovely and a favourite in our house
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
