I think I am A Failure: re £2 coin challenge.

So I go out with a reasonable nights budget of £20 for some cheap food (noodle bar) and some drinks. Hand over my £20 note for my £4 food and get 3 * £2s in the change! Now should I spend it or take a severe blow to an already moderate night out ;)

haha! Don't think they will still be making Ipods when I finally get there. Looks wistfully at 3* £2 coins - incidentally not those ones

    Hiya,

If it's any consolation, I've only got 2 £2.00 coins also. So I'm no nearer my Dads 65th birthday pressie as you are your iPod.

    We'll get there, don't worry.

I hardly ever manage to get one, as I rarely spend anyway :rotfl:

and then when i do get one, I find i need to use it rather than draw unnessecary notes from the bank! :o

I would have asked them for 6 £1 coins instead :o

That's why I'm not a member of the £2 coin savers club :D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Good job you didn't spend £2 and get 9 of them in your change.

Just shows what a load of nonsense this random money hoarding is.

No no, the unnecessary notes are part of the fun :rotfl:

£2 coins are sacred now, couldn't bring myself to spend one if I had any way to avoid it :rotfl:

Mike, its just a bit of fun :D

You are certainly no failure! It was an act of kindness: you helped another £2 coin club member by spending those coins ;)

I'm sure some other coins will find their way to you soon - karma and all that :T

Yeah, as long as everybody realises that it is DELUDED fun, then that's OK.

I've still not had any constructive criticism (or Thanks ) for my post on about page 140 of the silly £2 coin savers club thread
