If you think that this is going to be an ongoing thing can I recommend you tube? I've always cut DD's hair but she only got her fringe aged 6 (which she's now growing out!). DH was going mad at me when I said I was going to cut it for her but we did it and it looked great. Everyone commented on how it looked like she'd been to the hairdresser. When I did it before that I gave her a layered cut (Watched how to do it on the salon tv programme).

Poor thing though with a massive fringe! If you think that's bad, don't worry too much. My SiL took her DD to the hairdressers and used to pay £10 per cut for a fringe that started at the back of her head!

I don't have kids yet, but i remember those fringes! You made me laugh and i am sure she will cope with a bad hair cut at 2! but pictures would be a good idea to let her know how not to do it in future :)
    Thanks for the giggle :)
