hmmm, I think its quite funny that they have these to give away free still with your first order. to be honest the polishes aren't that cheap either as there are a number of places now all selling fantastic coloured polishes for under £5.

I do understand that it was a freebie and no one should complain but think how much money this company will lose now as all the MSE's are !!!!ed off with them and will now not buy anything....seems to me if they had the stock they should have honoured the offer. Surely they must have had some idea that this would happen, if they didin't it is poor business sense on their part. I used to run my own online business, it was small and I can assure you that I owuld have never offered a gift free unless I was sure I could cope with the demand.

Anyway that's just my opinion!

And i very much doubt this was self advertising as im a 16 year old school girl who got an email about a freebie and thought i would share it with all the other MSE's who are always posting freebies to share with everyone else. that poster probably like most of us, got the 'freebie' while it was still posted on the site along with the confirmation email... THEN days later received an email stating it wasnt going to be posted.

so back to the poster, yes its mad shady ur the only one to have recived 'said free gift'.

but it doesnt matter anyway u got the site a bad rep now.

I personally asked for my details to be removed lol, I don't think I can trust such a small company who does not know how many freebies they can afford to send..maybe specifying first 200/20 or even 2 (lol) to register will get one is a good idea..

Thankyou MSE i totally i agree thst the website should have posted how many they were able to send out.

All i tried to do was share this FREEBIE with all other MSE who are all always posting for others.. its not like you paid any money for it !!!!!!!!! so get over it's GONE !!!!
And Chuckley others have recieved this see above.. it you cant handle not getting a freebie you should understand because their free there going to go quickly!!.. its people like you who dont appreciate it and give it a bad rep.

KiZzYy=] everyone appreciates you posting the freebie. What they don't appreciate is the way the company handled the promotion. It was stated that all who registered would receive a free buffer. They probably under estimated the response they would get. I don't think people would be half as annoyed if the freebie had just run out. It's the fact that they are still offering it with a purchase that is so maddening. They have everyones details now.

And the only reason people may think that you have some connection with the company is the manner in which you keep defending them.

Please don't think criticism of a freebie as criticism of you.

I can really understand that people are annoyed at the company, ive been in the same situation when i have missed out on freebies. I dont mean to defend the company im trying to defend myself with it been my first post i didnt appreciate the backlash i recieved.
I hope more people recieve the gift later on and hope the people who have recieved it are happy.

When it comes down to it I have nothing against the company, as it was sent in both Blyk e-mails and Asos ones they had probably estimated a rough amount that would be needed to get us to then tell others about their website - which is somewhere I will shop after this as they have some nice products.

I think it's a little mad that people are getting so heated over this, companies are made up of humans, humans make mistakes. That's all this has been, a mistake. They had expected a certain amount and gotten overwhelmed, they've also learnt a valuable lesson through this that will help them in the future.

And to the poster claiming it was suspect that only one person had received a buffer (apologies I have forgotten the username), I received one a few days after clicking the link in my Blyk newsletter, so claims that this was some kind of scam or self-promotion were not warrented.

Congrats to those who got one, commisserations to those who didn't, and welcome to MSe Kizzy, hope you have fun here.
