Anybody had a successful application yet?

I have. Credit limit of £2100 - bit of a random figure.

Also think this is the closest I've got to appearing on the weekly email!

Didn't even notice the £15 voucher thing at first!

I also got a limit of £2100! I'm going to cancel the Amazon card & use this one instead!

Yeah, credit limits do indeed appear to be random. ast year Egg Money gave me £1100 and Barclaycard gave me a whopping £14990 - pleasantly surprised but why they didn't just make it a straight £15k is baffling!

Indeed, have NEVER got anywhere close to this limit as always pay off in full each month... but yeah these sort of limits are great risk for people who are prone to temptation!

They limit to £5000 for 0% offers so couldn't even take advantage of the whole limit then!
    Best Regards,

Has anyone applied and heard nothing? I applied for the play.com cc when it was mentioned in the weekly email but have heard nothing.

I've only applied for an MBNA account once before - a couple of years ago. I was turned down, despite the fact that MBNA card I applied for had my employer's branding and me having no debts and no poor credit history.
  • I applied and got a credit limit of £1800 - another random figure!

It was a couple of days ago and it said I should expect the card in 7-10 days.

    Same here.

Today is the 10th working day since I applied. I noticed after I applied that you only get an instant decision if you apply on certain days/times (they're listed in the FAQs).

I was going to wait until I got home to see if I have a letter. If not I'll give them a call next week.

I only want it for the £15 voucher. I wonder if I'll be declined... never been declined for credit since the very first credit card application I made when I was 18.
