  • HOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY  - ANDREA - guess what ;D

Did a shop for £14.97 and nearly got that 100% coupon discount I was trying for ::)

After handing over the coupons I sadly :( had to put my hand in my pocket and pay the sum total of 2 pence :D That is a nearly a 99.87% discount :o

Yep, £14.95 in coupons taken plus 2 bogofs on it as well.

If we could do that each time we would be paying 8 pence for a weekly shop of nearly £60. It wouldn't work of course but this one felt good ;)

Just think 2 months ago we would not have had the gall :P

Sure the goose laying the golden eggs will not last forever though :'(

    Cheers

    LM :)

Excellent stuff LM. I don't think thats beatable. You're still managing to get plenty of vouchers even without Home Solutions then? I've been hunting for more but i've only managed to find the ones I've added to the thread. I've been doing google searches for all sorts of products but not found any coupons yet.

Meanwhyile I think my Tesco goose may have stopped laying. :( ;D

The cashier this morning said she couldn't take more than 10%. I'm going to try again on Saturday. Perhaps it'll work at a different time on a different day. Fingers crossed.
  • Andrea,

I too am a bit concerned with Tesco. Each time we go we are just not sure as to their response. I have received the email back from them it it says something along the line that the policy is to accept 1 coupon per item not bought with no mention of limits.

Have you got an Asda or Safeway near you. We are going, eventually, to test these 2 out as well. They are not as close as Tesco but my odd working hours gives me some latitude to go 'off peak' and not worry about traffic.

Hopefully I will get to another pc and get some more Homesolutions vouchers. The ones I used in the last thread were a build up of Wishvalue, a few from newspapers and mags, Heinz site, Pure site, Complan site, yorkshire tea site, Tesco magazine ones, Whiskas site and mumsplusone site and a couple that had come off the back of Vanish previously bought (I think).

I was actually thinking of doing a little more detailed article on this subject once all the grovery chains I have contacted get back to me and in it put a complete list of all the current sites I am aware of. Perhaps this could be updated as I can modify on a continual basis by removing out of date links and adding new ones. Anybody finds anymore could perhaps pm them to me and I will add it in - that way all the links are in one place for all money savers to access.

What do you reckon or indeed what does moderator reckon?

In fact after this post I will add another with all the links I know.

    Hi LM  :)

I think thats an excellent idea.  Whenever I've been printing vouchers off i've just been coming straight to your post and clicking on the links from there anyway so that would be really handy for me if all the internet ones could all be together.

If I find any internet coupons from now on I'll pm you so you can add them to your list rather than me just adding a new post.

You probably saw my Safeway email in another thread.  Despite that my Safeway wouldn't accept any coupons so Tesco is the only supermarket that does in my area (theres no Asda within 30 miles of me so thats out).

Meanwhile, if its any help, I found a 50p off coupon in a copy of Saks Magazine (the hairdressers) which is free if you can get to a Saks.  (No, I wasn't using the hairdressers - I wouldn't spend that much on a hair cut  ::)). If you're not near a Saks you can request a copy of the magazine from their website (http://www.sakshairandbeauty.com).  Once you've gone through to the English site after a little while there'll be a pop-up for you to request a copy.  Do it soon though because the coupon is valid until 31 December. I put this here rather than pm'ing cos its not valid very much longer anyway - i'll just remove this tip when its expired.

  • Hello Andrea,

    Ok sounds good to me.

Re Safeways - I have in my hand right now a reply from Safeway customer services which to sum up says they will take 6 identical coupons from one supplier, internet or otherwise and as long as they do not exceed the total of the bill. It says nothing about managers discretion so we could be in for a stand off :P

I plan to take this with me when we venture to Safeways.

Just off to get the Saks mag - thanks for that one.

    LM :)

In the FREE  Tesco's christmas brochure, there are about £4 worth of coupons in the back!

    Used by date, 31/12/03.

    Near the checkout or entrance.

    Danny.
  • The Homesolutions website is wonderful and has now saved me over £20 in the last week alone! I got my husband to log on at work after I discovered I was limited to the number of vouchers I could print out. I have mentioned this before but he made sure he adjusted the print profile to 10 copies so that each voucher was printed out 10 times!
Named after my cat, picture coming shortly
  • Andy Pandy,

Know this seems a stupid question but how do you adjust the print profile.

Obviously I know how to print more than one copy of anything at a time BUT when I visited the Homesolutins site it never gave me this option. When I clicked on the icon to print the voucher it prints it out without being able to view the voucher. Does not ive me the opportunity to increase the copies :(

Is there a way around this.

    Cheers

    LM :)

ps aren't you worried also that to print more is dodgy. The reason I say this is because of the following from the site
Reckitt Benckiser printable Internet coupons are embedded with a unique customer ID number and incorporate other special security features that make them resistant to consumer and merchant fraud.

Mosu vouchers have this unique customer id :(

Got the Safeway December magazine (free with any purchase) yesterday, there's £3.40 worth of vouchers in it which you should be able to use at Tesco, although haven't tried yet.
