With Andrea's link and a colour printer, methinks we all have a licence to print money. ;)

Has anyone told the Bank of England?

Perhaps people could post their success/failure in getting them honoured?

    Well done Andrea!

    Re Andrea's latest find:
Just back from Tesco. Friend and I each had same bundle of vouchers. Friend chose Dopey Girl, I chose Dopey Guy. Dopey Guy tries ringing through all the vouchers, accepts Wish Value and Finish and hands back the rest. Dopey Girl announces she can only take one for a purchase plus one other. Without trying any of them, she selects Anchor Butter (purchase) plus Glade from Andrea's bundle which Dopey Guy's till had rejected. We still saved £2.50 and £1.30 so all was not lost, but these transactions were done in the same store at the same time so it really does depend on the assistant. Last week we got a really helpful guy who not only took all the vouchers, but actually added up the rejects in his head and subtracted the total! (he wasn't there tonight - hope he's still in employment).

???Am I reading this right. Tesco will accept any money off vouchers even if you are not buying the specific product that the money off applies to?

    I'm speechless.

Yes indeedy Drew they do (that's a nearly a poem!) ;)
Though much depends on the mood of the checkout person (see above). Delighted to report that my chosen operator has not been fired and today I successfully used £2.85 vouchers against £10 shop. I must stress I have no connection/relationship with said till operator - indeed I try to avoid eye contact and just act dead blase in the hope that the vouchers are accepted. :D
Worked out that even if you limit vouchers to moderate use (say £3 against £60 shop per wk for a year), add in the 1% cashback from the right credit card, plus interest on the diminishing £3K plus tesco clubcard points which I accept you'd get anyway, the saving is creeping close to ISA interest rate!! I like that.

    Hi Andrea,
Just wondering if you've used those kingios vouchers yet? It's just I thought some of them looked like they'd been scanned or something and as I'm going to attempt to use them in the Tescos where I work I don't want them thinking I'm dodgy *lol*

Just wanted to say thanks to you and Lawnmower man for this great topic. I'm going to try and use some of the vouchers i've printed off tomorrow. If I get turned down I'll ask the manager of my branch what the policy is and post his reply.

    Thanks again ;)

    Hi Lea37

It looks like this person had the foresight to cut and paste the vouchers from the websites they originally came from before they disappeared so you should be fine. It shouldn't be any different from having printed them out yourself directly from the original website. Most of them are vouchers that we've used before anyway.

Remember to check the expiry dates on them though. For example i just noticed the Nando's one expires on 31st March.

    Hope that helps

    Andrea :)

Varying success with Kingios vouchers - sometimes they scan through, sometimes operator has to key them in (only tried in Tesco). And of course some operators can't be bothered and reject them completely. I don't ask why, just grateful if they take any. Must say some of them look a bit dodgy, but worth trying. :-/ Most of them expire 31 March.

    Hiya

I have a quick question about the imodium etc type coupons you send for.... I tried to use them at tescos but i was told you could only use them over the pharmacy counter. Has anyone else came acros this? and if so is there a way round it?

    Thanx
