Sensibly priced places are shifting here slowly, going to view one on the weekend.
it depends London seems to be somewhere late 2006 and early 2007 that's not including increases in the last month and the ones coming due to the time lag factor on the Land Registry numbers0 -

OMG thats astaounding....just did our area, and yes, as I had thought with my own (very crude) evaluation: prices are barmy here!
The graph suggests we are at 04 prices here: however, prices just rocketed 02-04 here, in a scary way

I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -
Which means..... they have further to fall. I thought I'd spell it out. If you repeat the same message long enough even the bulls might give up.lostinrates wrote: »OMG thats astaounding....just did our area, and yes, as I had thought with my own (very crude) evaluation: prices are barmy here!

The London region average is showing back to Aug/Sept 2006, if you look at the data below the graph, on the website.
Not sure if this link will work

Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

yes agreed the graph only went to Jan/Feb - i was factoring in the data from Jan/Feb onwards0 -
Round here even the 'on the market for 18 months' stuff is selling. Just did a right move within quarter mile and 14 of 27 are sold or under offer. Most of the others are recently on (all the sales have brought forth some sellers finally) and at higher prices than at the turn of the year. Only the flats still seem to stick a bit - anything 3 bed and above is gone within a week or so. My theory is that without mass unemployment; low interest rates and equity from having had a house for more than 3 years makes moving very easy at the moment - as long as you ignore the doom and gloom merchants...I think....0
