It is now evident in our area that houses have started shifting with loads going STC in the last couple of weeks, how are your areas doing at the moment.

Yep, some places are selling......... at 25% off peak, this is definitely a result, especially as we are only 20 months into the cycle and likely another 3-5 years to go, amazing stuff, with much more to come.0

Seeing a few Sold signs in the village and a few 'subject to contracts' on the estate agent websites. The lovely stone farmhouse I was tracking has gone too

Nothing happening near me in Sunny South Wales. Wages have always been lower here and house prices out of reach of many so not surprising that the market hasn't picked up.

My neighbours have recently put their house on the market and even I was surprised by how low the three estate agent valued the property -25% since peak.
At least they were sensible enough to put it on at the EAs valuation, so they have been getting viewings. They have had one offer, but it was way below their asking price and it is early days yet. The house has been done up beautifully.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Most of the STC's in my area have fallen through and have recently come back to market. I'm not surprised as they are well over-priced and I suspect most couldn't get mortgages due to the survey devaluing the property.
Give it a month and a fair few will be back on the market.0 -

Back to spring 2004 in my area according to the Land Registry data.
You can check your own area on this link.

A few but only the recently added reasonably priced ones not the deluded been on the market 18 months crew
Also few agents playing games. One agent round here seemed to have everything go SSTC in March and over the past few weeks all back on. Very unlucky for them all to fall through :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier
