There was a young man from Devizes
Who had two balls, different sizes
    One was so small
    'Twas no ball at all
But the other won several prizes.

They'll take an offer. Personally, I cannot think that anyone sighted would buy that one in Chertsey. Was it really designed to look like that?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

On a humbler note, annoyingly, this would be with in budget next year, but out of budget if we buy this year. I toyed going to have a look, but we can't aford it this year, so pretty stupid to get excited really. I think, at auction, it will go significantly over guide price. I like it,. even though its on the low side land wise for my business plans, especially as a proportion is water meadow and will be unusable for parts of the year.

TBH, I didn't think we'd see a house like that under £1 million in Wiltshire ever again.

prety sure the auction for this is today. I think it will go very significantly over guideprice. I'd be gutted if it didn't tbh, as it won't be us buying it . Its going to make someone a very beautiful home.

Once you'd ripped out the Japenese garden it would be delicious IMO. Its not too twee for me, the fence not being pristene helps it from being a to ''spotless'' and I'd probably give in and paint the fence but nd some natrulistic planting to rough it up a bit.

    That's surely guide-priced for attention?

Probably. I'd turn it back into two cottages, which it started as.... but I'd never want an old house - too much maintenance and unknowns to deal with.

Damp, mice, thatch ... no thanks.
