Dear god Waggle Dancer- why, why, why did I click on that link? (throws up)
I did say if you really want to know.......best not to think about them really.
Just as an aside, did you know that the first film in Britain ever to be censored was a film called "Cheese Mites"? It was an informative little scientific film that showed what a huge number of these tiny mites living on a piece of cheddar.
When it was shown in cinemas the public were horrified at the sight of all the creepy-crawlies and the British cheese-making industry had it banned.0 -

We only knew she had one as segments kept crawling out her bottom and down her tail,I don't fancy that either.
That is so gross - but in a sick sort of way a mildly amusing imageWaggle_Dancer wrote: »It isn't scaremongering at all. Parasites are a fact of life.
Pop down to the Houses of Parliament and you'll spot a few hiding.

Only kidding. Again, whilst their eggs were probably in the rice grains, they will have been "crispied" as well!
Hmm. Crispy rice weevils. Sounds like a South-East Asian delicacy.
I'll get my cook's apron ...

I remember in the school summer holidays they showed a film like that one day - I think it might have been part of a series of science type programmes, slotted in between Belle and Sebastian, On White Horses and Robinson Crusoe
I must admit it did put me off cheese for, ooh, a couple of days (before I was vegan. Before I was even veggie actually )0 -

Worst thing was when a stray I had brought in vomited up eight live roundworms. They looked like earth worms, same size and everything and were wriggling and writhing around on the floor.I vomited and my OH ran out the room.Horrible at the time but funny now.
I certainly would'nt like to catch roundworm they realy are horrible.
So glad I'm a veggie but it still does'nt stop you catching them off other people though.
