This thread is amazing if you're trying to lose weight. I've just been put off eating ANYTHING lol!

Though I am peckish. Do you think I'm safe with rice crispies?

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

    There's a risk.....

We all take a risk when we get out of bed in the morning!

If we all stopped to think too much, we wouldn't get anything done for addled brains.

Maybe we could merge this thread with the "Weight Loss the Old Style Way" thread. I'm sure some of these parasites have been around for millions of years.:rotfl:

    No. Rice weevils.

Only kidding. Again, whilst their eggs were probably in the rice grains, they will have been "crispied" as well!

Hmm. Crispy rice weevils. Sounds like a South-East Asian delicacy.

    I'll get my cook's apron ...
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

You'd need a fair number to get a decent meal - might do as a starter?

EEEUuuuuggg- boy do I feel queezy.........gross. If something crawled out of my nose or ar*e I know, withough a shadow of a doubt I would die immediately of shock. Will be eating trail mix only from now on....

BTW how do we get rid of things like tapeworm? Are they easy to treat if you have them?
  • Well......if you really want to know....have a look on the NHS site as its the best info on it for the UK. Nice picture too.
    http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Tapeworm-infections/Pages/Introduction.aspx

Tapeworm infection isn't very common in this country. Usually it tends to be thread worms your kids will bring home from school and infect the whole house with (yes, itchy bottoms all round). But thread worms are very easily treated.
