    Hi Goofy,
I bought a bundle which is HP Photosmart M415 camera and HP Photosmart 420 printer. Have just checked the camera and manual there is a slot in the battery compartment.
This is a present for my 77 yearold father, and I am sure the internal memory, which is only 6 prints, will not be enough for him.
    Thanks
    Suzanne

Then there should be no problems with the 1GB SD card in this thread, & is meant for the camera (not the printer, as you now realise).

See "Memory upgrade: Camera: 16 MB internal memory expandable to 1 GB via Secure Digital (SD)/MultiMediaCard (MMC) slot", taken from about half-way down this HP link.

With a 1Gb memory card he should get around 350 photos (may be more) at the highest resolution settings (these settings should be changeable in the camera menu, & if reduced will hold even more photos on a 1Gb card). Hope this helps - if you have any more queries please don't hesitate to ask. :) G

P.S. btw, this particular camera-printer bundle together is known as the "HP Photosmart 422 Portable Photo Studio".

Suzanne, I'm afraid you may have stumped me with that one :o. The only print inks I buy are very cheap expired cartridges off eBay! I find SVP quite reasonable for paper.

And, you're most welcome for the other help. G

Edited: There you go - debs626 to the rescue! Thanks for that debs626 - didn't know the consumables board existed.

Just got an e-mail from Savastore.com announcing free delivery on certain items, including Viking 1GB SD cards. They have limited stock at £16.44 (incl. VAT and free standard delivery).

Go through Quidco for 3% cashback, which brings the total to under £16 delivered for a Viking branded 1GB SD card! Just got one to go in my Bug DAB radio :D .
