I have to admit when you look at these it makes you wonder why Amazon is even allowing these people to trade on their website, especially when Amazon appears to make it look like THEY are selling these items. Caveat emptor has never been more true.
A common scam, possibly still goes on, is customer tried to buy a high value item from a third party seller, but Amazon could not process the payment (obviously due to how the third party seller had entered info when they signed up). Then the third party seller somehow contacts the buyer telling them some c**k n bull story about Amazon and that they should pay by western union/bank transfer to buy the item. I'll let you all guess the rest.0 -
I had a dispute with an amazon marketplace trader, and amazon dealt with it very efficiently.
I had a book delivered that was inadequately packaged & was damaged/dirty. In their terms amazon say marketplace traders must give you the same level of service that you would expect from amazon (insert disgruntled comment here when you quote me) which includes delivery time & type of packaging.
They refunded me & pursued the seller to recover their money, as the seller had basically told me "tough". I had to keep hold of the book for a short time in case it needed to be returned as proof. No request was forthcoming so I basically got a free, albeit damaged, book.
I was impressed by the amazon marketplace customer service (can you tell?)

I pre-ordered my SD card and just got an email telling me it had been posted. I thought the price was very good, especially since it includes delivery.

I would go for the Viking 1GB from Ebuyer for £20.40 inc postage http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/82393
The Viking SD is recommended to work by Pure, and it does, as I just got mine yesterday.
Already formatted, so just plug 'n' go.
It used to be free postage, but that offer has finished.
Found it cheaper here as postage is FREE £17.49 (Halfway down page on the right)
