Hi,
HK orders take a little longer, usually around 10 days.
Kind regards,
SelectSpecs.com
Is this 10 days or 10 working days?
I have ordered from Selectspecs and am awaiting my order to say its shipped as it is coming from Hong Kong yet still doesnt say its been shipped. The "part entered glazing" info says 2-4 days and it has been over that.
If I knew they were coming from HK I probably would have paid a bit more to get them from somewhere else as I didnt think I would be waiting too long.
Will keep waiting obviously, just a bit annoying for me because my glasses that I already have are no good for my eyes anymore so having to strain and squint at everything.

Hi. Still waiting for my new specs after report saying they had been sent out from Hong Kong on 20th October 2009. Emailed customer service and got a reply back that 15-25 working days was standard!?
Anyone else still waiting? Read loads of stuff on here and elsewhere saying people not received, or fobbed off, or can't get money back.
Cheers Dave Barnes0 -
Hi Dave,
I ordered two pairs of specs on 14th October, had the invoice on 21st Oct for both pairs and advised one pair was shipped on 21st and the other pair was shipped on the 23rd. Strangely, I have received the pair that was shipped on the 23rd but not the pair shipped two days earlier.
I have to say I am really pleased with the pair received, excellent for £5. I am tempted to order some more as I am always leaving my glasses around but will wait to see if the other pair turns up first. As you say, I doubt they will do anything yet, so I willl wait until the 25 days are up.0 -

Hi Dave,
As stated before we have to allow a reasonable amount of time for items to arrive as the vast majority of delayed items normally arrive within 25 days (sometimes just after this period when we have already issued a replacement), to make matters worse at the moment the postal strikes from the past few weeks may have affected some deliveries.
We do anticipate that your order should be with you shortly - if it doesn't arrive within 25 days then please do let us know.
Kind regards,

Hi Stickybun,
Thanks for your comments, we're glad you are happy with the first part of your order. Please note that these orders are likely to have dispatched from 2 separate addresses as we're in the process of setting up a further lab in Hong Kong to cope with the additional (and future) demand for our Super Cheap Glasses.
Hopefully the rest of your order will arrive shortly. Please keep us informed.
Kind regards,

Hi. I take it all back. Specs arrived this morning and I have to say very impressed with them baring in mind they cost £5 and £3.50 postage. I believe the same specification would have cost £60-£80 on the High Street were I had my original eye test. High Street Opticians watch out!!
Thanks selectspecs.com although perhaps you should reiterate that delivery may take longer than expected. :T
Kind Regards,

I ordered mine on the 2nd October and I'm still waiting. I havn't given up hope yet but they should definately give more realistic delivery times on their web site.0

I have now received one pair of my replacement glasses but they are wrong. They were ordered with a tint but these arrived with normal lenses.

As for my other glasses these were shipped a week earlier but have still not arrived.0
