Hi
I ordered another two pairs of glasses from Selectspecs (I won't buy any more, I swear) and strangely they arrived only 11 days after ordering. The first pair I ordered took nearly a month to arrive. I don't know why these two pairs arrived so quickly, but I am quite happy with them.

i was pleased with mine.
mine came from Hong Kong, of a matter of interest, did anyone have a tracking number? mine didnt, but just wondered if others had, and maybe they could track to find where there glasses are for those still waiting?0 -
Received today.
Very happy with them at £13.50 for 2 pairs.0 -

I ordered a cheapo pair from selectspecs, they arrived yesterday. I have to say the build quality is hardly much worse than specsavers. I couldn't fail to be concerned when the parcel arrived with "Hong Kong" stamped all over it, but I'm quite satisfied with them. For £8.50, more than ten times less than my previous pair of glasses, what more could you want?0

My glasses arrived last week and are great with no problems whatsoever and very clear and sturdy.
I am short-sighted and wear contacts during the day and glasses at weekends and in the evenings. I just ordered these as a spare pair (I have a constant fear of losing or breaking my glasses, as I can't wear contacts all day every day). They are perfect for a spare pair and I'm ever so pleased to have paid so little for them. I'd have paid probably 8 to 10 times more at an opticians.Thrilled to be DEBT-FREE as of 26.03.10

I agree entirely. I wouldn't hesitate about getting more glasses from them.Silverbird wrote: »They are perfect for a spare pair and I'm ever so pleased to have paid so little for them. I'd have paid probably 8 to 10 times more at an opticians.
They are so cheap that I can have a pair in work, another pair in the car, a couple of pairs at home, etc.0 -
I had previously brought from Selectspecs several years, and the glasses were brilliant. I decided to 'update my look', and re-ordered... Customer services was terrible; despite being promised delivery within ten days, it took forty days, and their customer services number goes to a IVR message advising they cannot be contacted by telephone, only email, which are then ignored.
I'm currently dealing with Specsuperstore.com for some rayban sunglasses; quoted £45 cheaper than Vision Express, but three promised delivery dates so far and no delivery yet. The sunglasses are for my partner, and they're not prescription so can't understand the delay!0 -
Hi, first time poster here so be gentle...
Just had an eye test today and now face my bi-annual torture of trying to find frames to fit my stupidly large head. The optician recommended I look for something with a lens size of at least 57mm (more if poss) and a bridge of 17mm+. I'm hardly John Merrick but I tend to feel that way whenever I'm looking for specs and end up having to shoehorn myself into something just so i can see properly.
I note that various people in the industry have contributed to if anyone can point me in the direction of large frames I'll be forever in your debt...0
