Have you set up a mail re-direction? They come by royal mail so you should still get them if you have.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I know we are all guilty of a little impatience, no criticism intended. But we all want to order today and get it delivered tomorrow.
To be fair, these are glasses made specifically to prescription, not CD's, ready packed, sitting in a computer controlled warehouse with an auto-picking system.
And I think we underestimate the power of Martin's board/email system punting out a deal like this one. I can honestly believe these guys might well have found themselves suddenly swamped with orders way beyond their wildest imagination.
We are getting reports of deliveries coming through so I think we do have to give 'em a chance. The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.0 -

Also rcvd my glasses yday.. had rcvd email saying they were dispatched on 5th June so one week to arrive from HK. Happy with the glasses. fit v.well. I had used Selectspecs before this offer for 3 of my pair of glasses and they 're normally quicker or shipped from UK but i think this time the demand was so high that they had help worldwide...Anyway for that price, it's worth waiting for...:DA friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

Some of the posts on here are negative about the fact that this supplier is shipping direct from Hong Kong, so I thought I'd respond since I have a bit of experience in this area. I receive about 200 parcels a year, usually electronics/computer stuff ordered on ebay, and around half of those end up arriving from Hong Kong. Usually it takes about 7 days for shipping, but I've had parcels on my doorstep 3 days after ordering. As regards satisfaction, I've had no more problems than with U.K. companies - I've had a company in Hong Kong immediately send out a replacement and tell me to keep the item I already received when they've shipped the wrong thing, and I've had a U.K. company tell me after 3 weeks that they didn't have the item in stock (but said they did), but now they do, and shipped it an hour ago so I can't cancel. I've had good service and bad service with both U.K. and H.K. based companies, but there is no difference in general. What I'm saying is that there is no problem in general with buying stuff that ships from Hong Kong - most of the suppliers there are friendly and want to provide good service, and they have very good postal links with the UK (probably a relic of being a British Colony).0

I haven't felt any negativity from the posts re shipping from Hong Kong. Like others I have no problems with this. I just like to be aware of accurate shipping information, not too much to ask.
It seems it is more that this company have an issue with telling their customers they ship from Hong Kong, for what reason I don't know, they are pretty vague in all their communications, including shipping estimates.
The recent estimated dates of shipping in my latest email has come and gone and still no sign of dispatch. I ordered May 21st.0
