Thanks, I understand the tuition fee assessment is probably right but it's the Adult Learners Grant I'm now chasing, without that I'll be alittle stuffed, with the Welsh Assembly Grant it becomes manageable.
I missed the fact that you're in Wales, so I'll leave it to Taiko.
Good luck in getting it sorted.0 -

You should speak to your personal/year tutor as soon as possible and also to the disability student support office at your university. They'll be able to give you advice and guidance on what help they can give you to reduce the impact of your health on your studies.
You may be eligible for Disabled Students Allowance. I think you can apply for this at any time as long as you've got at least a year left of your course. For how to apply have a look here:

Hi guys:)
I wanted to ask you for an advice. I filled out an application online for the next year and my partner will be supporting me. We have a child together.
When I was filling out the app it asked me for our tax credits, working tax etc. I filled that in. Put our sons name as my dependant.
Now when I was filling out the support an app part it asked my partner if he received child tax credits etc. Should I say no? As the tax credits we receive are obviously in our joint names and I have already out them down on my part? Same goes for the dependant. I put "no" down but dont know if that was right or not. I thought, well our son is apready there, has dads surname and we live together so they will know he is dependant on him.
Did I do it wrong? I am begining to think so.
I looked on the last year app and I actually filled the dependant on support an app as well. Did get any tax credits in financial year 08/09 so it was easier to fill in:)
Any advice?
Thanks:)0 -
I'm going into year 2, and they want my marriage certificate and proof of NI, again? Really?"On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

Shouldn't be asking for it again. Is it the online system asking, or have they sent a letter?0

I got asked for my Marriage certificate again last year. It was a glitch in the system - I did get an email a few days later to say that I didn't need to. Though my application was done through the LEA so may be it's different?0

I have applied online, and the award is available to view, but I noticed that evidence is still 'incomplete' so clicked through. I'll give them a call, and ask them to confirm in writing I think.
I'm concerned because last year my finance was 4 weeks late, despite applying in April, because they claimed they needed various things i'd not been asked for and my NI number which I had already provided once. Last year I had recently finished working, but this year I need the money on time to pay the mortgage!"On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." my son has applied online for student finance for his final year and when he views his current status it notifies him they are awaiting further information and that they still need his mothers financial details and she should log on and complete. I have provided all my financial details as a supporting parent. I have a daughter at university as well and her offer is available to view on line. I submitted my details for both children the same day. I have logged on to my account for supporting parent and it tells me "We have all of your financial information at present and you are not required to take any further action. " So why is it telling my son they still need more details from me. Who should I contact?0
