Hi, i'm a first time poster on this thread

After this unexpected rise today is now a good time to buy dollars for travelling or is the pound likely to strengthen some more in the coming days/weeks?

any signs of strength in USD will see it come tumbling back down..

Won't be around much in the forthcoming weeks. 10 out of the next 12 I'm at a customer in LA and for one of the other I'm having a few days in Vegas.... It's a hard life...

Just saw on the TV over here that a so called expert says in the next couple of days the $ will get stronger then next week he reckons it's going to weaken "significantly".

Not sure who it was.. but it was on CNBC
