and tbh your only dry for another 3months and 12 days

i reckon thou that you shouldnt apply as ur the founding member
  • I thought Vif said Halifaz do not offer products to those with

    1) A decline within the last 30days
    2) More that 14 searches in a year.

Don't know how they can check a decline however I am sure they must be able to see your millions of searches....

    hi fellas
remember the loan halifax reserved me.
i applied last month and was declined.however it seems it was sort of gauranteed at the time.
i applied on line and it never processed.when i phoned they kept banging on about how they had to re do the app because it had been done under an approved code.but was not approved.i just applied on the link they gave me.so perhaps it was,or not, lol.

    Fellow MSE's

    I need some advice.

I am on my SOS however have seem something I want to order from SDG.
It is £100 cheaper in Very however I don't have an account with them.

Should I use a search and risk a decline even though i am SOS?

    What do you think.

    Thanks

    Innocent

They probably won't do another search on you. Once you have built up history with them anyway. They never with me when I applied for my third.

    Good luck.

I called and they gave me the option to get a credit check for a higher limit or no credit check for a £100 limit, so I took they £100 limit as they said I would get increases as my other accounts were run well.

She also offered a limit increase on my Empire account but said if they manually do it, the system will not generate another for 3 months so i asked them to leave it.

She then offered me a special offer towel set for £19.99 LOL ( Always a special offer he he )
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

Well done. I thought they wouldn't do another search, and so it was proved. :D

  • I applied today for a current account with RBS as the benifits are better for me than my current account with Lloyds TSB. I was doing so well too.
