So what was this then?:rotfl:That was basically a "WHAA WHAA I'M PRICED OUT OF THE MARKET" :rotfl:
Oh, sorry Joe, did you just realise you started this and decide to delete that last post did you? Want to show exactly where you have contributed anything to the boom/bust debate over your last half-dozen posts?0 -
Wrong end of the scale chap, I am far from the minimum wage. Which parts of my post exactly are unrealistic?
All of your posts are unrealistic, as you will find out in the coming months.
So, if your earn a decent wage and have 70K in the bank then what is stoping you from buying? Average prices have fallen around 20%, interest rates are at record lows and current mortgage products (esp with your deposit) are fantastic right now. Prices will not fall much further but mortgage rates are likley to rise, and could rise fast - this will end up costing you more by holidng off now.0 -
Is that it?Hey Joe, I am not the one in negative equty dude. Dont lecture me about fiscal prudence. And I can assure you I am far from priced out, sitting on a 70K deposit.
I thought all the doom and gloom merchants on here were ready to buy 6 bed Victorian villas in Wimbledon for £300k IN CASH when the prices had crashed 80%?0 -

Which was in response to "WHEN WILL STUPID PEOPLE GET IT INTO THEIR HEADS". Oh dear, we're all stupid apparently.
The post was deleted as I'm bored of making you look silly, but as Britney once said, oops I did it again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Yeah, if you account for inflation. But if prices rise in line with wages, it hardly counts does it. I am 27.
Oh and let me point out that if prices rise in line with wages then they will grow in real terms because wage growth almost always outgrows inflation.
Even now, wage growth is at 3% whilst inflation is at -0.4% (on the measure that is historically used to measure inflation).0
