I think we'd all like to think things are gonna be better but probably most of us have a bit of a clue .. would not like to be buying on the word of some here who seem to feel they have an obligation to be happy chappys. Wont help the poor suckers when they are in negative equity.

    Maybe tomorrow, better today

Are we in a boom ?, we could be, apart from the fact I can't find any evidence of rising prices, and then there is the small matter of there being only 40% of the credit available from peak. That could be a problem;).

Still it doesn't cost anything to create a headline, and some of the sheeple are falling for it hook, line and sinker. They are going to get burned when we hit the next leg down, and I'm so confident, I give copyright permission for it to be used in a sig, if anyone wants it.:D

    so?

This is going to backfire spectacularly, incredibly there are people out there who now think prices are on the up, sentiment will take a beating when, not only will they not get the higher price they so crave, it will stay on the market longer and so will be worth even less thean if they'd put it on for a reasonable price and tried to sell it now.

The dead cat bounce is going to hurt prices even more in the long run, and so hurt sentiment even more, and lets face it, all the ramping with no substance is trying to do, is change sentiment, as there is absolutely no good economic news out there, which is what would naturally change sentiment positively over time.
