Kills the High St of Bakers, Butchers, Grocers etc...

And 'Clones' people at the 'Hip' by closing everything else down in the process.

Ive' just seen my Town destroyed in 3 years.
times change unfortunately. while i do feel for any town high street going down, they do that for a reason and most of the times for the better.

I think you will find that the Indian shops provide excellent service at all hours of the day and night!

They may be Indian but they may be British Born too?
most of the 'indian shops' and 'Indian restaurants' around my area are actually pakistani or bangladeshi run. is it because they are ashamed of being what they are. and sorry but they are actually not nice.

    What is?
That Indians pretend to be something else or that all Indians are not nice?

When I used to shop in tescos we reused bags to get green clubcard points - the snotty woman on the till said to my girlfriend "you can have a point but HE can't" pointing at me. I was like obviously we'll both get points because we're both reusing bags and she begrudgingly gave me a point. She seemed to think she owned the shop. Never going back (not just because of this incident).

Why blame Tesco for destroying these little towns?

Obviously, there are plenty of people willing to use them; hence their success.

Blame the people. Tesco are merely filling a gap in the market.

If your local butchers, bakers etc are closing down, it's simply because they can't compete with Tesco. They are probably too expensive for the majority of people.

It's all very well jumping on your high-horse ranting about towns losing character, but if there were that many people that bothered, Tesco wouldn't be operating.

    and another thing:
all that modern stuff, nuclear power an' that, put all t' miners out of work.
    what a disgrace!

Tesco's seem to be Suceeding in 'Brainwashing' people usaully of the same (Ilk) into shopping at Tesco's and Tesco's only!

Well Hello, There are other shops still trading and I think the 'Typical Cloned' Tesconian is programmed like a 'Robot' into visiting Tesco's only!!

It seems to be the 'False' people who shop at Tesco those who have little money, But they insist on driving BIG 4X4's with about 10 kids in the back etc...

The more 'Refined' shopper will go to Sainsbury's, And not give Tesco's the time of day?

The Tesco shoppers seem to be in the 15 - 40 range the age range who may not appreciate nor remeber the past history of shopping in the UK!!

GET REAL Tesco's is just here to make money, Look nice and employ a 'Mere' thousand staff members.

Tesco's has killed more businesses than any others.

You can't stop a dog peeing against a tree, So you can't stop people as people they are shopping at the NOT so great Tesco's!!

They are programmed like robots on a daily basis!!

You obviously don't like Tesco - and I'd be the first to say that you are entitled to your opinion! What you are not entitled to do is be so B***** rude about those of us that use Tesco. You can shop where you like - and so can the rest of us! I certainly don't need a lecture or condemnation from you .

My town is known for being a 'historic market town' and to be frank, the market is crap. there is a woman that sells nets, a mobile phone stand that sells covers etc, one that sells huge granny pants and under skirts and one that sells weird tat. If there was a better market I would use it in a flash

Oh and whilst I'm here, went to Tesco again in the week, went to get my ine voucher for the school and once again came out with a wad!! (it was the same lady, must make sure I go shopping when she is in!!)

Just for the record, I use Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury's. It depends what mood I'm in and how far I can be bothered to travel ;)
