Tesco

I thought I would post something nice about them! we did a small shop last week (just over £10) and used the self serve til. I went to the customer services desk to collect the tokens for my daughters school and I asked the lady how much you have to spend for each one, she told me £10, and ripped a huge wod out the book

Got to the car and counted them up, she gave us 12 in total, would have to buy £120 worth of shopping to get that many what a lovely lady

I also have good things to say about Tesco today.

Went into our local Express store and saw a customer clinging onto a member of staff's arm - turned out she was blind. Must say the member of staff did a very good, patient and professional job of guiding the blind lady round the store and telling her about the products, meeting her requests etc. She made sure she knew exactly what she was buying and how much it was for, and showed a concern for the lady, offering to help her to where she was going next. Above and beyond the call of duty. Well done, Mr. T!

I have bought umpteen electrical things from Tesco over the last 15 years from Electric Toothbrushes to MP3 players. When some of them have gone wrong, stopped working etc, Tesco take them back. No painfull hours spent demonstrating the problem, no digging out the receipts or credit card slips- just took them back and got replacements or cashback.

On both the Electric Toothbrushes and the MP3 player, the price of the new item was less than what I originally paid, according to the Customer Service person as I did not have the receipt, so I got a refund as well. RESULT!

MORE TESCO stores as far as I am concerned, the more the bettererer.... Much betterer than some local shops - I still have bitter memories of the old battleaxe who ran the local paper shop - ARE YOU LOCAL could have been based upon her. I still remembering her thieving my sheet of newspaper vouchers when I went in to exchange them for a newspaper, she stated that "needed time to examine them - come back tomorrow", obviously she forgot all about it the next day and I got neither newspapers nor the vouchers back and there must have been about £9 worth of vouchers for a week and she had the lot.

Turns a perfectly beautiful Saturday market in a lovely little village, where Mrs Advent & I used to stroll along the stalls for a few hours, into a Tesco Metro.
The character of the village has been destroyed, never to return.
  • Tesco's seem to be Suceeding in 'Brainwashing' people usaully of the same (Ilk) into shopping at Tesco's and Tesco's only!

Well Hello, There are other shops still trading and I think the 'Typical Cloned' Tesconian is programmed like a 'Robot' into visiting Tesco's only!!

It seems to be the 'False' people who shop at Tesco those who have little money, But they insist on driving BIG 4X4's with about 10 kids in the back etc...

The more 'Refined' shopper will go to Sainsbury's, And not give Tesco's the time of day?

The Tesco shoppers seem to be in the 15 - 40 range the age range who may not appreciate nor remeber the past history of shopping in the UK!!

GET REAL Tesco's is just here to make money, Look nice and employ a 'Mere' thousand staff members.

Tesco's has killed more businesses than any others.

You can't stop a dog peeing against a tree, So you can't stop people as people they are shopping at the NOT so great Tesco's!!

They are programmed like robots on a daily basis!!

Tesco's has killed more businesses than any others.

Sorry I just realised that your post must be meant as ironic and just a wind up as it is such a laugh. Nearly wasted a lot of time in replying to it!
