  • Hi Littlemissmel83

I have just listened to the call you had with our agent.

The following script was read to you, and you agreed to it:

"......WE WILL ACT AS YOUR CREDIT BROKER TO FIND YOU THE BEST AVAILABLE LOAN IN THE UK MARKET.

WE WILL BE AIMING TO FIND YOUR FULL LOAN AMOUNT – IF THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE WE WILL FIND THE CLOSEST AMOUNT AVAILABLE

ANY LOAN THAT WE MAKE AVAILIABLE TO YOU IS BASED ON THE APPLICATION DETAILS YOU HAVE SUPPLIED US. IF ANY OF THESE DETAILS ARE INCORRECT YOUR APPLICATION MAY BE VOID........."

The agent then instructed our system to search our panel of lenders for a suitable option for you, which was successful. - There were 2 errors made by the agent after this point (when answering your questions) having said that I believe that the information in the script above covered the errors.

Nevertheless the agent has been given the feedback and we will continue to monitor the situation.

I’m sorry you felt misled. We have daily, and weekly call audits to make sure that our agents are treating our customers properly. I will look at our scripts again and see what else we can do to remove any possible misunderstanding and insure customer satisfaction.

Looking at your application I don’t actually think you should have any reason to worry, your application details are pretty strong.

Thanks for your feedback, and raising your concerns. We spend a lot of time trying to improve our process and your feedback is genuinely appreciated. I hope you find your loan.

  • Hi Saka, I’m not sure where you information has come from but I can tell you that you are not talking about our company. We have never sent clients e-mails with loan options, nor have we ever had a letter from A&L "lawyers" regarding anything.

Also A&L have made a lot of errors on the phones and that’s why thousands of people are now able to claim back thousands of pounds for miss sold payment protection insurance ect.

I didn’t say that our agent got away with anything; I said that they would be given the feedback and we would work on it from there! In house action was taken over the issue as per our policies.

I would suggest that you check your source next time as we have definitely never had any letters or direct dealings with your company!

I think over eager salespeople are quite aware that the message is sometimes mis-interpreted but they are not quick to point out the mistake. I was quite sure I heard that my loan application had been accepted.
I contacted the Mr Money Rep who arranged for my refund to be paid back, the cheque was recieved within less than a week, I thank you for that speedy response.
    :T
I do think your sales people need to take responsibilty to not mislead people with a clever play on words. They are so eager to get the £58.50 and will say whatever it takes to convince you to part with your money. Perhaps there are some succesful applicants, but if so then why the aggressive sales push to take people's money if there is no need to.

I was almost scammed by a different broker so I am being real careful checking websites and reading here. Mr moeny are your salespeople also responsible for this on your website? .........
Why do I have to pay a fee?

If you have been asked to pay us an arrangement fee then congratulations - we have found you a loan. The only time we would ever ask for any kind of administration fee would be when we have processed your application and - based on the application details you provided us we have got you a loan and want to arrange payout.

Seems theirs lots of people on here who you asked for a fee but did not get a loan. Anyway if your a broker how can you arrange a payout?
  • Can you help me.

I paid a fee to your company and was told my paperwork would be sorted out in the next few days.... i did receive one offer but wanted someone who owned a house to sign with me.

i had infored your agent on the phone that i could not do this i have since never received any other offers regarding a loan, when i call your customer services i was told to put it in writing and i would get a refund.

I sent my letter stating i was not happy and i wanted a full refund...instead i was sent a letter stating you would offer me more loans from other companys. Again i called your company to find out why my request was not actioned and spoke to some very rude man who informed me i would have to send another letter again stating i wanted a refund, when i told him i had already done this he starting getting funny on the phone saying if i dont reply there would be nothing done and even if i did send another letter, you couold hold my refund for up to 3 months.

I was miss sold information and a payment was taken off me for £58.50 ive received one offer from your company and requested many times for a refund and its not been 4 weeks and ive herd nothing from you.

any help on the would be great.

  • My partner used to work for Mr Money..basically all they do is send you leaflets for places you have already applied to and been declined by..DO NOT PAY THE FEE!!!
  • i only found this forum after silly me trusted the speal from mr money.i was promised everything i applied for by the call person will a 100% garentee of the loan.after 3 days i recieved a photo copied piece of paper with debt line num,a pay day loan num and a lender i could ring myself to apply for a loan.it was a total disgrace.after emailing the director of the company i had quite a rude unhelpful email back to which i demanded my fee id payed for services that didn,t do anything.i was promised it would be sent straight out by email and by phone.yet 10 days later still no refund.i recontacted them and was told like so many of you that it must be lost in the mail.this company seems to have hell of a lot of problems with royal mail and would love for them to investagate it so ive contacted my sorting office with mr moneys alligations though somehow i think this is a lie.they claim to not promise and record all call well i too recorded my calls to them also.they are cheats and liars and please to not trust them.if i do not recieve my payment fee back within the next few days i am seeking legal advice off a lawyer friend.they prey on the vunrable and should be stopped.as for their thousands of satisfied customers well where are they and the good reviews.if management team can only send rude emails out when people are not satisfied that shows the stardards of their customer service.

Is the guy who started up the company called Mr Money? Or is it just a really, really bad name somebody thought up. Just the name of it sounds like it's a company that will scam you. Seriously Mr Money jr who has been posting here, think of a better name, like direct finance solutions, or something.
