Since I put my e-mail on here I have only had 2 e-mails and both those customers have had refunds issued stright away.
There seems to be quite alot of people on this thread who are not and never have been customers of our company but seem to assume that we are not offering a good service. I can count about 10 actual customers on here, out of the 35000 we have had since we opened in Febuary.
As i have previously mentioned we are a new company and we are always looking to improve. I wanted to join this forum so I could get some constructive feedback from our customers and see how we could improve our service, but all anyone seems to want is to say that we are just the same as every other broker and that were a scam.
As I say only 2 e-mails have come through this forum - responce to your post CHR15.
I cannot find an address to write my complaint, I cannot bear to keep trying customer services. I WAS told my loan was guaranteed and had been accepted by a loan company, I was finally sent (after chasing up with phone calls) the name of a credit card company. Not what I wanted, luckily Abbey National have given me a loan. However I would like my £ 58.50 refunded as it was taken with a guarantee that I'd get my loan or my money back. That is what I was told verbally.
Please send me details of where to make my claim for repayment.0 -
MrMoney_company_representative wrote: »Hi Viz007 We don’t guarantee a loan. What we do say is that the customer has been accepted for our guaranteed loan finding service and that we guarantee to find them the best loan available to them in the UK. AND let me point out that this is only for people who meet the criteria for at least one of the lenders on our panel. We may not work directly with lenders but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have their lending criteria.
We will then not stop working for you until we have found an option your happy with, or will refund you your money. So unless it was an agent breaking our process you would not have been guaranteed a loan at any point.
In fact we have been thinking about changing our script in the section you mention, not because its misleading but because customers who don’t actually listen to what's being said feel that they have been misled.
We have an in-depth compliance and training programme, and review our process on a weekly basis. We do loads of call auditing and development to make sure that we are not misleading people, and operating a service that complies with and OFT regulations.
Hi Mr Money Representative,
I telephoned your company today after receiving a text message saying you could help me to obtain a loan. I have answered all of the questions honestly and was told by your adviser that I was guaranteed a loan for the full amount of £8000 that I am looking for, repayable over 5 years at the rate of approximately £225 pcm. When I told your adviser that I was not prepared to pay the fee at this stage she insisted that there was a lender and again she guaranteed that a loan was available without a guarantor. Can I take from your previous posts that this is incorrect and in fact your adviser should not have promised me a loan? She re-iterated this a number of times and was doing her best to obtain the £58.00.

Hi Shamerce.
I have sent you a PM requesting a few details so I can review this call and see what happened.
But to answer your question - We would never promise you a loan for any amount if all our process are being followed.
Please send me the details requested and I will post back on this forum my findings.
Many thanks“Official Company Representative

Does anyone not think that the 'Mr money represetnative' is just set up to calm the backlash on themselves and rescue a few more foolish idiots who believe their hype?
It is sinfull these companies are allowed to operate and the FSA do nothing to regulate this dangerous playing field for poor / indebt people.
SHAME ON YOU!0 -
Maybe the reasons were on here are because we care that some (only a few) of our customers are not happy and will do whatever we can to fix it?
I notice from your other posts that your not one of our customers Snowminx and that you paid a different broker. Are they on here trying to fix it for you, offering you a refund if you not happy? I guess Not.
In fact having looked at a number of other threads I see that no other broker actually responds to their customers, or explains their process other than us.“Official Company Representative

Yes, that is a fair comment and i suppose that you will do your best to fight your corner in the 'i paid my fee but didnt get the loan i was promised' scenario.
Still, im sure that the people that do a some savvy will check yours and other license/registration number with the FSA either online or by phoning them. Thats what im doing now before i do anything else.0 -
p.s: I take it i'll see you on there?0

Mr Money,
Like Shamerce said, I replied to a txt msg I received about an hour ago. I spoke to a woman named Tina, and after answering her questions she told me I had been accepted for a loan and all she needed to complete the process was my £58.50! I asked her to clarify that the loan was definitely approved already and she assured me that it was. If I paid the fee, my loan would be deposited into my account within 10 working days! She repeated this numerous times.
I refused to pay the fee without checking the company out online first, so I asked for a website address, to which she unhappily replied 'I'm sure if you just google Mr Money, you'll find us'. That's what I did, and I found myself here- and thank god I did!
Am I to understand from your comments that she was lying? Or just incompetent? Is this how Mr Money trains its staff? I have worked in sales for years, and if I had carried out such blatant mis-selling I would be fired on the spot! Can anyone say 'Fraudulent Selling'?
I don't know if you record your calls but like I said, her name was Tina and I spoke to her about 30mins ago.
PS - I would like a reply to this post0 -

I think over eager salespeople are quite aware that the message is sometimes mis-interpreted but they are not quick to point out the mistake. I was quite sure I heard that my loan application had been accepted.
I contacted the Mr Money Rep who arranged for my refund to be paid back, the cheque was recieved within less than a week, I thank you for that speedy response.
:T
I do think your sales people need to take responsibilty to not mislead people with a clever play on words. They are so eager to get the £58.50 and will say whatever it takes to convince you to part with your money. Perhaps there are some succesful applicants, but if so then why the aggressive sales push to take people's money if there is no need to.
