Time's up, no letters, no calls, money has been taken and so have I.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY> Mr Money I don't know how you get away with blatant lies to vulnerable people trying to desperately get help with financial problems. It's not fair and it's not right. I will be calling today for a refund, I suspect from the messages on this forum it's going to be a long and difficult process. If only I had looked on here first, I'm now having to stay at home for a week as I do not have the money for transport, thanks for that! But at least I'll be able to spend my time contacting you for a refund.0 -
It still amazes me how people love to !!!!! after the event. It seems everyone can google a company to complain but not to research it beforehand.
Scotty119 - if you spent your last £58.50 hoping for a return in 5 days when you hadn't completed applications, signed forms etc then to be fair you deserve what you got. I have some magic beans for sale if you're interested - you certainly seem gullible enough.
And to those that wonder, I spent 6 years getting out of debts totalling £26500 and know how hard it is to resist when people seem too good to be true but in this era there is no excuse for not researching something as important as a 'sub-prime' lender, and lets be honest they are all subprime lenders.
I'm afraid that while there are people like scotty119 and others around, these companies will continue to profit.0 -

I rest my case. I wouldn't bother going to the police though - its highly likely they will arrest you for being an idiot

So i have questions!
1.If this company is a scam, why no one sue them or close them down?I mean if no one do anythingm then i can do the same(take money from people and says that papers get lost and i will get away with this)
2.They web site mrmoney.c om got VIRUS!My anti-virus detected TWI viruses.
3.Shell i call to that company and said i dont wanna for them to take my money?Koz i got zero right now,koz i took all my money. They will probable call me and gonna say that they havent took money0 -
Its not a scam per se, but perhaps not everything is as transparent as it could be.
They guarantee to accept you as a client but they aren't lending the cash merely trying to place you with a money lender i.e provident, FLM etc.
You are entitled to a refund of your fee less a £5 admin fee which they are allowed to retain.
Apologies if you thought I was overly rude in my earlier post, but it is annoying that everyone wants to moan and never take accountability for their actions?
As far as I know, companies like FLM, provident, welcome blah blah dont hold a gun to anyones head, nor do they cold call on your door - people who find these companies should do more to find out more about them. To spend your last £60 on a whim and a prayer is madness not desperation.0 -

I don't think you are fair at all, being gullible isn't a crime, if I got what I deserve then Mr Money is getting what they desrve with all these complaints, I think it's great that people can vent thier frustration. YES with hindsght I should have researched, but the saleswoman was excellent, I fell for all the totally blatant lies, but that still doesn't mean the company should be allowed to get away with it, just because I didn't research. What a sad state we'd be in if we had to research everything we purchased? Anyway not all people have the means or know how to research, isn't there supposed to be some code of conduct or trade description laws to prevent them doing this?
I also spent 5 years getting out of debts of just over £20k, what has that got to do with it. I don't understand you dismiss the wrong doings of these companies just because people are fooled by thier lies and therefore the victims somehow become responsible for being conned? It's not comparable to buying magic beans or some silly get rich quick scam, this is people telling you after asking all your details and doing a search that you have been accepted and they have an offer for you ready to be sent out, I was even told the repayment terms.
I did not expect an emergency family crisis and was temporarily in a fix, I wanted a small loan to tide me over and I believed them, I have no debts so there was no reason for me to doubt I'd get a loan. All I eventually got after paying £58 was a phone number of a credit card company. I will still demand my money back , but doubt I'll have any luck. I did subsequently get a loan from Abbey National, stupid f me not to try them first. However other people have been turned down elsewhere and in desperation go to these companies and it's sickening that they just get ripped off when losing more money is the last thing they need.
I don't care what you call them "sub prime lenders"... whatever! They are ruthless con men, who will take money from people in desperate situations and that's not right! Don't blame people for being gullible or not researching, these companies should not be operating and preying on vulnerable people. I'd like to see them abolished.

Has anyone on this post who Mr_Money_Company_Rep has promised to help, actually received any help??
From the casual reader point of view, lots of people are being scammed by this guy. Despite personal assurances on this thread, I can't see anyone having any success.
Have any of you reported this guy to abuse??
If he isn't helping you guys out, the only thing he is doing to trying to enhance his companies credibility.
If he isn't helping any of you, get shot of him via the abuse system.0
