Most tribunals find in favour of the government.

I wish those that appeal when they know it is futile would save the tax payer money and accept the decision.

It may have been awarded but there had been a NEW decsion which would need to be appealed against. The tribunal hears both sides and makes another decsion.

I am not wrong, the tribunal is not biased against the claimant.

The tribunal is an INDEPENDENT tribunal, they do not have loyalties either way.

    PLEASE NOTE
I would encourage anyone to take my word for this or check it out for themselves as what I am saying is correct and I have to keep correcting the misinformation of this poster.

Nope - this was an apeal against their decision to stop my IB.

"The tribunal hears both sides.." - LMAO.

So INDEPENDENT - the ITS chairman put forward the case of DWP when they didn't turn up - he was actually acting as 'prosecution' - presenting their evidence - despite the fact that it was falsified and he could not answer the questions put to him for me to disprove it.

He was also talking about a lack of resources in the DWP - a cosy relationship, it must be very helpful for them - this is a new definition to the meaning Independent - it no longer meant autonomous, unconstrained, unfettered, self-reliant, or separate.
  • NASA,those that appeal when they know it is futile shouldn't have claimed in the first place

Gary, they must just have hated you, most people find the tribunal system fair.

Life seems to have hated you - given that all you ever seem to have experienced is hardship.

I wholeheartedly agree, yet, it doesnt stop them claiming.

I think a spell in jail for those that lose appeals would be a good deterrant.

How about a spell in jail for those in DWP and ATOS that defraud legit claimants.
  • maybe you're both right

No. That would be unfair. DWP and ATOS are beyond reproach IMO.
  • Maybe when your specialist (who surely is better qualified to tell than a GP or a clerk reading a list of set questions) says you're not well enough to work that should be enough???
