I've decided not to go to the cake decorating class - why do I feel so guilty? I've paid for it (albeit less than £20) and work haven't yet refunded me (I'll say not to bother) and it was a course in my own time, to further my own interest, I only asked work to pay so I could be a stand by tutor for the subject in the future and it hasn't really armed me with the skills to do that. I'm far too socially compliant for my own good

I now have an extra cake though!! I had to make a cake for the class which I now don't need. I've just put a query on OS about making a filling for it, Ithink i'll fill it, then slice and freeze most of it - I've more than enough for work! I'm quite proud though - I have made

chocolate refrigerator cake (covered in hundreds and thousands :D )
    Banana flapjacks
    Apple cake
    Honey cake

and it cost me just under £3 all in using up stuff in the cupboard. :D

I tell you something, I've spent a lot of time with many famous people and none of them are as nice as you lot. Given the choice of who to chat with, you all win hands down.

well, yeah, but you weren't getting anything out of it so you're wasting your time going. Don't feel guilty, you've just saved the petrol money, and no one can ever have too much cake :)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
